Mike Donaldson
PCGI certified multi pitch instructor, Wilderness First Responder, Search and Rescue Technician
Mike Donaldson is a Denver native with over 20 years of experience rock climbing. He is the program developer and lead guide at Chillino Rock Climbing Colorado.
Mike is a certified PCGI Multi-pitch guide and AMGA aspirant guide. He also holds a rope access level one certification with both IRATA and SPRAT. In addition, Mike spent two seasons as a high angle rescue technician with Yosemite Search and Rescue.
Mike’s experience in guiding is complemented by his certification as a yoga instructor. He holds a 1000-hour teacher certificate from Naropa University, and uses his knowledge of yoga to help his clients improve their movement and experience, both on and off the wall.
Mike is a passionate climber who brings his playful enthusiasm to every outing. He has climbed all over the country, including 10 ascents of El Capitan, and a speed ascent of Norway’s national mountain Mt. Stetind. His mindfulness-based approach to climbing helps his clients and partners value the experience more than the summit.
