Amazing day out with Jeff! He is prepping for his big climb in the Himalayas next year. His goal to refine his climbing technique and catch up on the endurance game. So we went for mileage and got as many pitches in as we could. Up and down amd up and down… big smiles! We already look forward to our next session with him
Great Private session with Corey this weekend. Thanks to high energy levels we ended up climbing more than 10 pitches in our half day session. We are psyched to get more and more folks hooked on this climbing thing
Amazing day with Aiden and Cole! These teenagers showed up ready and crushed it from beginning to end. They demonstrated sharpness as we flew through the instruction part… quick learning and perfect application of the new skills. We tied nice and neat knots, belayed like Pros, figured out what "free climbing" really means, realized that the hardest hike is actually the easiest climb and also that some climbs protect with bolts and others with "trad gear". The day went so smooth we even squeezed in a rappel lesson! We would say they are hooked now. Crushers for life
Great day out at our Intro to rock climbing class! We learned that its ok to lean back and spread our arms wide.
He believed he could fly!! Luckily our guides were there and installed some ropes quickly to battle this illusion. Yes! super fun day out with out bachelor party crew.
Throwback to last climbing season when @cannonjtc and Fabi tried freeing the "PanAm" (5.12d). We had a great support team filming the action. We put fixed lines down the entire 1400 feet face, rappelled down, had an amazing bivy at the base to then fire the route the next day. In an effort of 8 hours we topped out. Jordan led the crux pitch – "brown dihedral" – a really stellar pitch with rather marginal gear. Eventually we had to girth hitch a smashed bolt and clip an old removable bolt to make this a safe one. After 3 redpoint attempts, Jordan decided to keep moving to not loose time. Fabi eventually followed without falling (and all pieces still clipped to the rope – no chance of sending otherwise ;) This place is truly adventurous and requires quite some preparation to properly navigate through. True adventure climbing in an amazing setting. Thanks mother nature for this one.And also special thanks to @kovacsan11 and @shepherdimagesllc for all the support – hauling bags, coiling ropes, eating mayonnaise and holding the camera. See you soon! ?? viva Mexico ??
Great day out with Yelena and Anastasia climbing the awesome slab climb named "double dip". Truly double styling it on another beautiful sunny day here in the High desert ??
So excited to be featured in Robert Miramontes third edition of the Joshua Tree guide book. Hard trad faces… all you need for a great day of climbing Make sure to get a copy of what is the best edition so far
Anchors Rappel Backup hitch Ready to zip down ️ Here is Anastasia on her third session with us… already building her own anchors and rappelling down the safest way possible… We love to see the progress and are psyched for her future eock climbing career… exploring our nature playground
