Tahquitz summit on another perfect day in SoCal. Right after ?♂️ the Maidens Walkway, a classic walk in the park… super psyched to share this experience with our German friend Martin.
Who would have guessed that SD summer temps can be so amazing… a nice breeze, the last bit of ocean layer made up for an amazing session at Mission Trails. Big shout out to our hard working guide @the_cosmic_serpant who makes sure the stoke levels are always high. Happy climbing ??♀️ everybody
Having fun with @wildernessleadershipinstitute and San Marcos college. Here @ejfelicano on a quick lap on one of the classic long top ropes at the Gorge – well supported by @dr_doctolero . Thanks guys for a great day out on our beautiful rocks. Climb on!
Epic rappel off "Cyclops Rock" in Joshua Tree. Our three Bundeswehr soldiers from Germany were not quite sure about this one. They had no choice just kidding… crushers naturale
Decision making time! We again found out that plans do not always work out as envisioned. When things shift it is all about the art of adaptation and how we deal with it. No regrets and willingness to take a step back often go a long way. Here climbing again as the perfect metaphor for life! Observe. Plan. Observe. Change. Be Happy. After this picture we kept going for another 30 min when we decided to retreat back to camp. None of us got to climb at Needles… too bad sooo sad. We are psyched to come back.
Great day with great friends in a great place… here enjoying prime temperatures in SoCal's mountain escape. @the_cosmic_serpant on belay.
Good times in Joshua Tree on one of our last trips for the season. We had 3 German college students having the time of their life's on our two day camping excursion in the High Desert. Does not 1st more classic than this… last one up headstone
Amazing day out at the happy boulders with new friends. So great to explore the East side of the Sierras… so beautiful and peaceful ?
Summer is slowly creeping up on us here in SoCal. When it gets hotter day by day it is inevitable to seek climbing at higher altitude. Here a throwback to last years summer frolicking high up in the Italian Alps. Psyched to get on some bigger rocks soon ?
