Multi-Pitch Walls of Val Di Mello
It was a long way down from our multi pitch climb in Val Di Mello. Many rappels down massive granite walls got us feel incredibly exposed like tiny ants in the vertical. Italy was amazing in many ways… We got to enjoy great food, relaxed while sipping one espresso after the other, went bouldering in the most beautiful scenery and got to observe hundreds of Italian weekend vacationeers and learned their ways of how to enjoy life to the fullest. We also bathed in beautiful ice cold mountain rivers and just had the time of our life’s. We will be back again for sure!

First Pitch in Val Di Mello
First Day in Val Di Mello
Great bouldering trip to Italy! Val Di Mello has given us so much pleasure with its pristine beauty. Gorgeous summer weather, Italian Alps, great company and just awesome boulders everywhere. Tomorrow we will get some multi pitch climbing in to also explore this side of the valley. Happy and content being here!

Sport climbing in Germany!
Frankenjura is one of the most popular areas for hard routes on limestone. Most routes are entirely bolted and many of us climbers have heard about this area because of “Action Directe” – known as the hardest climb on this planet in the 90’s. It took Wolfgang Güllich many years to establish the first free ascend. It was not repeated until a few years later! It is extremely short and extremely hard with many mono pockets and entirely overhanging at its cruxes. Climbers also learned that Güllich specifically developed the campus board training in order to prepare for this route. Nowadays this training method is inevitable for climbers that want to push their high-end grades. Great times on the rock. Here trying really hard
