Great day out in Joshua Tree with Janelle and Rich. The psyche is high – first time on rock and already rocking it
Peace out guys! we are going rock climbing today. Always fun in our weekly Intro to Rock Climbing class. want to frolick on ropes and rocks? This is for you
Crack climbing in Mexico. One of us could not resist to try this lichen-painted overhanging crack/chimney. Here @cannonjtc styling on his way up.photo @shepherdimagesllc ??️??
Kevin was more than psyched! It was his first time climbing outdoors. He climbed at his local gym for more than 6 months and brought in some great skills to the rocks. It is amazing how much stoke can travel through the rope… and so we climbed many pitches and slowly worked ourselves to the very top of our small SD climbing paradise. The view was better than what we are used to. The ocean lookes like a shiny big lake to our feet and the reflecting sun made our faces even more glow. What a perfect day
High up on the rocks… one place to find peace in nature. Here teaching the fundamentals of multi-pitch sport climbing. Great day out with amazing San Diego "winter" weather ??
San Diego Classic!! We had a great time at our bachelor party on the rocks… way to kick off married life
Joshua Tree never disappoints with its unique style of climbing. Here Max on a climb that looks much harder than it actually is. We hiked all the way into Johnson's canyon to get on this gem. It was Max's first time climbing in the park and he was quite surprised by the funky moves he busted out and the stiff ratings. We kept hearing "this is the hardest 5.7 (and you could insert any rating here) I have ever done! Yes… Joshua Tree is no ego booster!! After a few pitches, he got the hang of it and suddenly palming, stemming and other odd moves were busted out with more ease. Good job Max!
Yesterday was a great day! We were sooooo psyched to celebrate Paul's bachelor party on tue rocks. These guys warmed up quickly after our nice approach hike to the rocks. We saw a lot challenges being tackled amd comfort zones pushed. It was almost everyone's first time rock climbing outdoors. What looked impossible soon was summited with huge smiles and feelings of accomplishment. To top of a great day, we also taught them how to rappel which was perfect for a "high gravity" day like this We had a blazt and look corward to seeing you guys back again.
